Description
DEX3-1: Advanced Dexterous Hand for Precision Robotics
The Unitree DEX3-1 is a compact, 7-DOF robotic dexterous hand designed for high-performance humanoid platforms like the G1 EDU+ and above. Weighing just 710g, it delivers independent motion through six direct-drive joints and one gear-driven joint, enabling fluid, human-like manipulation for AI training, grasp research, and advanced interaction tasks.
Each DEX3-1 model supports precision movement via micro brushless force-control motors and USB 2.0 for fast integration. Both models are capable of repeatable positioning (±2mm) and can handle objects up to 500g with burst power reaching 400W.
The DEX3-1 is available in two configurations: the standard version and a sensor-enabled version that integrates 33 distributed tactile sensors across the fingers. This optional feedback layer allows for real-time grasp adaptation, ideal for delicate handling, HRI studies, and responsive control environments.
